In Noble Company

It is always a thrill to collaborate on a personal branding shoot with a business woman with clear vision. From the first moment, I knew we would create magic projecting a vision of “barefoot elegance with a luxurious wink”, one of the core values of the Noble Nuptials wedding planning business.

After moving from the UK to Saint Antonin Noble Val, Hannah Nicolet saw an opportunity to apply her event and talent management skills to service specialist weddings and custom events in the South of France. The service curates and coordinates events with French elegance and refined luxury in specialist locations such as vineyard, chateau, at home, or barn style weddings, locations often typical of the South West of France. Inspired by the charm of the region, Hannah sources locations and unique themes to suit each individual client, taking care of concept, planning, vendor sourcing and activations, with the grace, professionalism and relaxed elegance synonymous with her brand.

With a successful, well established wedding planning business, Hannah wanted to create personal branding imagery to support her activities; imagery that would convey class, yet still feel natural, down-to-earth, and reflective of her personality and style. Much like the events she creates for her clients, the shoot was designed to exude refined luxury and natural elegance, in a village setting typical of the South West of France where her business operates.

Through local connections I am fortunate to have access to many locations not available to most photographers, and I had the perfect location for Hannah in one of these unique locations. A stately village house in ruin restored to its former glory. The 12th century home, later completed in the 15th and 16th centuries, was in a state of disrepair before the current owner renovated it to its former glory. And what glory it is with French doors opening onto the village square, ancient frescoes, intricate plaster work and a music library salon! It was a fitting setting for a business and brand that also draws upon local connections to find unique and stunning locations for her clients.

The medieval beauty of the village streets and a few carefully selected props, paired with the luxurious villa provided the perfect setting for the Noble Nuptials shoot. Light, movement and colour permeated imagery. Soft daylight illuminated the landscape, enhancing the scene of cascading ivy and ancient stone walls, and gently lighting the sumptuous interiors providing luxury and depth to the brand visuals. For Hannah, fashion was an important stylistic consideration, ensuring her style and personality was reflected in the imagery, and her professional energy was conveyed to potential clients without having to speak a word.

It is always a privilege to be involved in the creation of a personal branding shoot. From collaboration to creative direction, to the shoot on the day, I love the process of creating and delivering a brand concept through photography.
